Welcome to RAJLO — Jamaica’s First Cashless Transportation Platform.

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how RAJLO (“RAJLO,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, stores, processes, shares, and protects personal information when users access or use the RAJLO platform, mobile applications, websites, software systems, payment systems, communication systems, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

By using the RAJLO Platform, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy.

  • Location information may be collected even when the application is running in the background where permitted by device settings and applicable laws.

1.4 Payment Information

RAJLO and its payment processing partners may collect:

  • Currency and payment processing data
  • RAJLO may use third-party payment processors for secure payment handling.

1.5 Device & Technical Information

RAJLO may automatically collect:

3. GPS & Location Services

3.1 Real-Time Location Tracking

RAJLO uses real-time GPS and location tracking technologies to:

  • Detect fraud and fake GPS activity
  • Support trip monitoring and operational systems

3.2 Background Location Collection

Certain features may require collection of background location information while the app is active or running in the background.

Users may adjust location permissions through device settings; however, disabling location access may limit Platform functionality.

3.3 Location Accuracy Disclaimer

GPS systems and mapping technologies are not guaranteed to be accurate at all times.

RAJLO is not responsible for:

  • Delayed location updates
  • Navigation failures
  • Mobile network interruptions

4. Information Sharing

RAJLO may share information:

4.1 Between Riders & Drivers

Limited information may be shared between riders and drivers to facilitate trips, including:

4.2 Service Providers

RAJLO may share information with third-party service providers assisting with:

RAJLO uses commercially reasonable measures to help protect information from unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

However, no technology system, mobile network, cloud infrastructure, or internet transmission is completely secure.

RAJLO does not guarantee absolute security of information.

Users acknowledge that they transmit and store information at their own risk.

7. User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for:

  • Maintaining account confidentiality
  • Protecting login credentials
  • Protecting OTP verification codes
  • Maintaining device security
  • Restricting unauthorized account access
  • Users must immediately notify RAJLO of suspected unauthorized account activity.

8. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

RAJLO may use:

  • Cookies
  • Device identifiers
  • Analytics tools
  • Session tracking technologies
  • Similar tracking systems

for:

  • Authentication
  • Performance monitoring
  • Fraud detection
  • Platform analytics
  • User experience improvements
  • Users may adjust certain browser or device settings to limit tracking technologies; however, some Platform functionality may be affected.

9. Children’s Privacy

The RAJLO Platform is not intended for individuals who do not meet the minimum legal age required under applicable Jamaican law.

RAJLO does not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate authorization where required.

10. International Processing

User information may be processed, stored, or transferred through cloud systems and third-party providers operating in multiple jurisdictions.

By using the Platform, users consent to such transfers and processing.

11. Third-Party Services

The Platform may integrate with or rely on third-party services, including:

  • Mobile operating systems

  • Cloud infrastructure providers
  • RAJLO is not responsible for the privacy practices, security, or operations of third-party services.

RAJLO reserves the right to monitor Platform activity for:

  • Fake GPS detection
  • Unauthorized access attempts
  • Payment fraud
  • Account abuse
  • Suspicious activity
  • Platform security enforcement
  • RAJLO may suspend or terminate accounts involved in suspected fraudulent activity.

13. No Warranty

The Platform and all related services are provided “as is” and “as available.”

RAJLO makes no warranties regarding:

  • Data security
  • GPS accuracy
  • Service availability
  • System reliability
  • Error-free operation
  • Continuous uptime

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under Jamaican law:

RAJLO, its owners, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers shall not be liable for:

  • Unauthorized access to information
  • Data breaches beyond reasonable control
  • GPS inaccuracies
  • Mobile network failures
  • Cloud service interruptions
  • Lost data
  • Identity theft
  • Financial losses
  • Technical failures
  • Third-party actions
  • Delayed notifications
  • Cyberattacks
  • Service interruptions
  • Users use the Platform and transmit information entirely at their own risk.

15. User Rights & Choices

Where permitted by applicable law, users may request to:

  • Update account information
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Access certain stored information
  • Close accounts
  • Adjust notification preferences

RAJLO may retain certain information where necessary for:

  • Legal compliance
  • Fraud prevention
  • Safety investigations
  • Dispute resolution

16. Account Deactivation

Users may request account deactivation subject to:

  • Outstanding balances

  • Legal obligations

Continued use of the Platform following updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

18. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Jamaica.

Any disputes relating to this Policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Jamaica.

20. User Acknowledgment

By using the RAJLO Platform, users acknowledge and agree that they:

  • Release RAJLO from liability to the fullest extent permitted under Jamaican law

This document forms part of your agreement with RAJLO. By continuing to use the RAJLO platform you accept this policy as currently published. RAJLO records the version of each policy you accept, with a timestamp, for both parties' protection.
